Ayisha Piotti is Head of AI Policy Summit at ETH Zurich's Center for Law & Economics and Managing Partner at RegHorizon.
Passionate about promoting responsible adoption of AI through innovation in policy and multistakeholder dialogue, Ayisha is the visionary behind creating Switzerland's largest Global AI Policy discussion platform, attended in 2022 by 82 countries spanning six continents, the host of a newly launched podcast series NAVIGATING AI. and an active speaker at global AI events.
Ayisha is involved in many expert groups working on AI Policy frameworks, including ITU / UNESCO Broadband Commission’s expert committee on AI Capacity Building. She is also a member of the Ethics Council of a US-based company, Eightfold AI, a Faculty member at the AI Business School in Switzerland,
She has over 20 years of experience in the private & public sector, including with the United Nations. Prior to joining ETH Zurich’s Center for Law and Economics and setting up the firm RegHorizon, Ayisha was a Senior Director of Business Development and Corporate Affairs within a large multinational, where she built and led cross-functional teams and projects spanning diverse geographies, including Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia.
Ayisha’s educational background is in Economics and Management, and she is an alumna of the London School of Economics & Political Science (UK), Tufts’ Fletcher School of Law & Diplomacy (USA), MIT’s Sloane School of Management (USA), INSEAD (France) and the IMD (Switzerland).
Ayisha strongly believes in the role of education in empowering youth and is a Co-Founder and Board Member of the federally supervised Swiss LSE Alumnae and Alumni Foundation. She is also actively engaged in various organizations promoting women in leadership and technology.
