Andreas Iten

Andreas Iten is a highly experienced innovation & entrepreneurship strategist, with proven leadership in startups, open-innovation, information technology, and venture capital.

Andreas studied in Zurich and St. Gallen and has worked for over 25 years within leading institutions in the ICT, airline & transportation, and the financial industry.

Since 2015 Andreas was leading technology innovation, and he was the Chief Information Officer for the division Financial Information within SIX, which operates and develops infrastructure services for the Swiss and Spanish Stock Exchanges.

Andreas is co-founder of the SIXHackathon (Europe's largest Fintech coding contest) and co-founder of F10, a leading global innovation ecosystem for FinTech & InsurTech, with hubs in Switzerland, Singapore, and Spain.

Today he is the global CEO of F10, acts as the investment advisor for SIX FinTech Ventures, and holds several board seats at fast-growing Fintech companies.

His specific areas of expertise focus on startup innovation in the finance and insurance sector, building innovation ecosystems, and creating entrepreneurial spillovers with the use of emerging technologies, digital innovation, business transformation methods, and venture capital.
