Ayisha Piotti is the Head of the AI Policy Summit at ETH Zurich’s Center for Law & Economics and Managing Partner at RegHorizon. She leads Switzerland’s largest global AI policy platform, bringing together participants from over 100+ countries to advance ethical, inclusive, and innovation-driven AI governance, and hosts the Navigating AI podcast. A frequent speaker at major international forums, she contributes to academic publications, media articles, and podcasts in Switzerland and abroad, shaping global conversations on AI policy and technology governance.
With more than 20 years of experience across the United Nations, multinational leadership, and government affairs, Ayisha has built cross-functional teams and led high-impact projects in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia. She serves on expert AI policy bodies, including the ITU/UNESCO Broadband Commission’s Expert Committee on AI Capacity Building, the Ethics Council of US-based Eightfold AI, and is affiliated faculty of Imperial College London’s Trusted AI Alliance.
Ayisha holds degrees in Economics and Management and is an alumna of the London School of Economics & Political Science, Tufts’ Fletcher School of Law & Diplomacy, MIT Sloan School of Management, INSEAD, and IMD. A strong advocate for education and women in leadership, she co-founded and serves on the board of the federally supervised Swiss LSE Alumnae and Alumni Foundation.
She has been nominated to the “Top Women in AI & Data in Switzerland” list, an initiative by Greater Zürich Area, Alexander Thamm AG, and the ETH AI Center.
