Boris Inderbitzin

Boris Inderbitzin is the IEC's External Relations Officer. With a background in law and a focus on technology and public policy, Boris' career has largely focused on the intersection of technology and law. He has worked in law firms specialising in information and communication technology and in the Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs. While at the FDFA, he was part of the Swiss delegation to the negotiations of the UNESCO Recommendation on the Ethical Use of AI and the Council of Europe Framework Convention on AI, Human Rights, Democracy, and the Rule of Law. He is the author of several publications, including official FDFA reports to the Federal Council on AI governance at the international level.

At the IEC, Boris is responsible for coordinating stakeholder engagement and advocacy, particularly in the areas of artificial intelligence and sustainability.
