Dominick Romano

Dominick Romano is an American Computer Scientist and entrepreneur recognized for his work in artificial intelligence and human-machine teaming. After founding a global top 100 programmatic advertising company PremiumCPM, he led a team at Fresh Digital Group to an OMMA Award for their work on UNICEF's Alexia Kid Power voice application.

He later founded drainpipe.io, an operating system for human-machine teaming focused on Trustworthy AI for advanced manufacturing, which led to his recognition as a global Top 50 AI CEO in 2021 and 2023 and a nomination for EY Entrepreneur of the Year in 2023. Mr. Romano is the only US Contributor of AI for Radiology to the UN’s AI for Health Global Initiative and currently serves on the advisory board for the Center for American Studies at Christopher Newport University, where he is the youngest advisory board member to a degree program in National Security in United States history.

Additionally, as Chair of the AI Steering Committee at the United States National Drone Association, he is working to transform the US industrial drone base through the strategic use of gaming and AI. Dominick also is a resident lecturer on AI in Cinematography at the Moroccan National Film Institute (ISMAC) in Rabat, Morocco where he hosts lectures and workshops for students and government on Artificial Intelligence.
