
Erica Moret

Dr Erica Moret is Director for United Nations Affairs and International Organizations at Microsoft, Geneva. In her work, she supports the UN and IOs in tackling global challenges through technology innovation (including Artificial Intelligence) and multi-stakeholder engagement. A former diplomat, she has a DPhil (Ph.D.) from the University of Oxford and is a graduate of France’s Ecole Nationale d’Administration (ENA). She is co-founder and former Policy Director at the Swiss Centre for International Policy Engagement, Polisync, PoliSync and convened multi stakeholder engagements and led applied research projects for the United Nations, World Bank, European Union and humanitarian organisations. Until 2024, she was Senior Researcher at the Geneva Graduate Institute's Global Governance Centre and Centre of Humanitarian Studies, as well as Visiting Professor at Sciences-Po’s Paris School of International Affairs. She has served regularly as a keynote speaker and in international media outlets and provided testimonies and strategic advice to the United States (State Department, Treasury, Congress); Canada (Global Affairs, Senate and House of Commons), Switzerland (Federal Department of Foreign Affairs), EU (European Parliament, European Commission, European External Actions Service) and UK (Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office, HM Treasury, both UK Houses of Parliament).
