Vera Obonyo is the Deputy Director at the Kenya School of Government (KSG) – eLearning and Information Technology Institute that focuses on capacity building in the public sector, consultancy, research and policy advisories services to government. She oversees the learning and development function of the Regional Centre of Competence for Digital and AI Skilling in the Public Sector, an initiative hosted at KSG and supported by UNDP, Ministry of Information Communication and Digital Economy, and Microsoft.
She serves on several national committees that guide the development of ICT competencies, policy formulation, and implementation within Kenya’s public service. Vera’s educational background is in information systems and she is an alumna of Temple University (USA) and Moi University (Kenya).
