Katarzyna Gorgol

Ms. Gorgol is a Digital Affairs adviser at the EU's Delegation to UN. She works at  European External Action Service (European Union's diplomatic service helping carry out the Union's Common Foreign and Security Policy) which has a strong working relationship with the United Nations and other International Organizations.

Ms. Gorgol has worked as an MEP Assistant at the European Parliament providing legal support and advice to MEP on intellectual property, e-commerce, and EU institutional law, as well as a Legal & Policy Officer at the European Commission on the development and implementation of the EU Digital Single Market Strategy.

During nine years of work for the EU administration, Ms. Gorgol has developed expertise in policymaking and regulation of the single market. She is particularly interested in the development of the digital economy in Europe.
She holds two master’s degrees in International Relations and Affairs, and European Law from the University of Warsaw and the Université de Strasbourg, respectively.
