Prof. Stefan Bechtold

Stefan Bechtold is Professor of Intellectual Property and Core Team member of the Center for Law and Economics at ETH Zurich. His research interests include intellectual property, Internet, privacy, telecommunications, and antitrust law, law & technology, as well as law & economics. Stefan is a leading researcher on AI Policy with a special focus on AI  & intellectual property.
He is an affiliated faculty member of the ETH AI Center and a member of the Academic Advisory Board of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs. He spent research and teaching visits in Amsterdam, Berkeley, Chicago, Haifa, Munich, New York, and Singapore.
