Strengthening🇨ðŸ‡Swiss-India🇮🇳 Partnership on AIGovernanceÂ
On behalf of the Swiss Government, our Managing Partner Ayisha Piotti was delighted to moderate a House of Switzerland session in Davos 2026 on the road to open and inclusive AI governance ahead of the 🇮🇳 India AI Impact Summit 2026 🇮🇳
The panel convened senior government and institutional leadership alongside global governance voices, including Alexandre Fasel (Swiss State Secretary, Federal Department of Foreign Affairs), Bernard Maissen (Swiss Director General, Federal Office of Communications OFCOM), Abhishek Singh (Additional Secretary, Indian Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology), Martin Tisné (Chair, Current AI), Thomas Schneider (Swiss Ambassador & Vice Director-General, OFCOM), and Katharina F. (Executive Director, ICAIN).
The exchange reinforced the practical relevance of alignment: governance that is implementable across institutions, interoperable across borders, and durable enough to carry public trust. The session emphasised on the Summit’s potential to advance inclusive socio-economic development, while stressing the importance of a golden thread of policy continuity: from France (2025) to India (2026), with Switzerland envisioned for 2027.
Beyond the formal panel, Ayisha also engaged in conversations with leaders shaping the digital and public-interest tech agenda, reinforcing shared priorities for responsible innovation and governance outcomes. Please read more about the session Here.
Looking forward to continuing the dialogue at the India AI Impact Summit 2026 in Delhi from February 16-20, 2026.
